WEDDING CAKES
The wonderful tradition of sharing cake with family and friends at a wedding goes back hundreds of years. The traditional fruit-based wedding cake, iced with a decorative white icing, has given way to various types of chocolate or mousse cake, decorated with fruit or flowers, and designed to double as dessert. And while it still has pride of place, the wedding cake now also has some competition from the chocolate fountain.
