I endeavour to provide my clients with care, respect, top-quality photography and a first-class level of service at all times. Weddings should be fun and relaxed, and should be as stress-free as possible. I work with precision and a well-developed sense of fun, ensuring that you have sufficient time to mingle with your guests and celebrate your special day. The fact that I have formed close friendships with many of my clients adds to my enthusiasm, excitement and motivation for each and every wedding in which I am involved. I strongly believe that professional photographers should never use a set formula or 'recipe' for wedding photography. I have developed my own unique style to suit the individual personalities of each bride and groom, and to complement them in the most natural way possible. I start by consulting with the couple well in advance, in order to get to know them as well as I possibly can before the wedding day. Each set of wedding photographs should be tailored to suit the bridal couple, in order to fulfil their needs and suit their characters and tastes. I create images filled with light, love and joy, forever capturing the special moments of happiness. After all, the wedding photographs are the visible embodiment of the bridal couple's wedding day dreams.
I charge a fixed fee for a complete wedding, which includes my time and 200 photographs. If the celebration is to take place anywhere within the Cape Peninsula or the Boland area, no travelling costs are involved. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure my services for the date in question. Dates are reserved only when this deposit is paid. Colour, black & white and sepia tinted photographs, as well as digital photography, can be included in the photography package, depending on preference. I also present the client with a complimentary 'pre-wedding shoot', which normally takes place a few weeks before the wedding and is free of charge. This pre-wedding shoot provides the bridal couple with the opportunity to experience the way I work and also gives them total peace of mind by the time the wedding day arrives.
In order to provide you with the finest quality images possible, and to give you that peace of mind, all my photographs are skilfully processed and hand-printed to exhibition standard by a professional laboratory, using only freshly mixed chemicals and top-quality professional material. Very importantly, I am there in person, as an artist, to photograph the complete spectrum of events on your wedding day - from start to finish. I do not send an assistant to photograph a wedding (or part thereof) on my behalf. I become contractually obliged to provide you with consistently superb levels of service.
To avoid disappointment, bookings should be made 6 to 12 months in advance.
