Our experienced banqueting team is thoroughly versed in wedding management and will arrange every detail. The magnificent gardens are freely available for the bridal couple’s wedding day photographs, and our in-house florist at the Mount Nelson Hotel would be happy to assist you with all the floral arrangements for your wedding – from the flowers at the service, to the brides’ bouquet and the reception. We also offer a dance floor, a stage for the band, cutlery, crockery and glassware and white linen – at no additional charge.
Our professional on site bodycare centre and exclusive hair salon offer every imaginable pampering and luxury treatment for the entire bridal party, from facials, make up, manicures, pedicures and relaxing body massages, to instant tan applications and hair styling.
For a minimum of 50 guests, we offer a special wedding package, including:
- Availability of service staff and an experienced reception advisor
- Specialised requirements for a Kosher function can be catered for in our in-house Kosher kitchen, under the supervision of the Beth Din
- A small gift to commemorate your special day – with our compliments
- A complimentary throwaway posy
- Assistance with the printing of guest lists and place cards for the main table – should a plated menu be selected, menu cards can be printed at an additional cost
- Wedding night accommodation is provided in a Luxury Suite and includes a full English breakfast in the hotel restaurant, or through room service
- If your wedding celebration is held at the Mount Nelson Hotel, your first anniversary can be as well. The hotel will provide a candle-lit dinner for two in our signature restaurant – the Cape Colony – with our compliments
