My daughter is having a church wedding in the evening. Would it be appropriate for me to wear a long black skirt with some kind of beaded top?
It certainly would be appropriate for you to wear a long skirt with a beaded top for a formal evening wedding. However, if the skirt is black, I would suggest that the top be in a lighter shade, and one that tones in with the bridesmaids’ outfits. Do also check with the groom’s mother, to ensure that your outfits don’t clash.
