I would like to enquire on behalf of a friend. She is getting married in April and would like to know whether we can use ready made popcorn instead of confetti. Her colour scheme is blue & silver so we'd also like to know if one can dye the popcorn blue.

Thank you for your email. I would suggest that before choosing popcorn in place of confetti your friend has a trial run in advance of her wedding and asks someone to throw the popcorn at her. Unlike rose petals and paper confetti I think it might be a little uncomfortable having popcorn inside your clothing. I would also strongly recommend that you refrain from dying the popcorn as the dye could come off if your hands, or any part of your body, are at all sweaty and it could stain your friend’s wedding dress.
